A watch collection is a set of decisions. This is where you keep the record of them.

The Collector’s Ledger holds fifty watches. Each one gets a two-page spread: the left page for what the watch is and how it came to you — reference, serial, dial and bezel, calibre, card date, who sold it, what you paid, what was in the box — and the right page for everything that happened afterward: service and repairs, notes, and if it comes to it, where it went.

At the front, six short chapters on the things collectors wish they’d known earlier: what to record and why, the questions worth asking a seller, what “full set” actually means, how to read a listing, and when a watch needs a watchmaker. At the back, a departures log and an index of the collection at a glance.

No prices. No predictions. Nothing that goes out of date. Just the record your watches deserve, on paper, on a shelf, where it will still be in thirty years.

Who it’s for

Anyone with more than three watches and no system. The collector with a spreadsheet somewhere who can’t remember which laptop. The person who just inherited a box of watches and paperwork and wants to make sense of it. Anyone buying for one of those people.

Made to order. Every copy is printed and bound when you order it, which is why there’s no warehouse and no copies going yellow in a box. Allow a few days to print, then transit. Brand-neutral — no manufacturer names or logos on the cover.
